Fighting Blindness Canada offers hope to 1.2 million Canadian who are blind or partially sighted and an estimated 8 million Canadians have an eye disease that puts them at risk of vision loss by advancing vision research, education and public awareness for blinding eye diseases like age-related macular degeneration. Since 1974 Fighting Blindness Canada has invested over $40 million to support Canadian vision research to understand, preserve and restore sight.
