A 24hr, 7 day a week, anonymous and confidential toll-free telephone and TTY crisis line for women in Ontario who are experiencing or have experienced any form of abuse including physical, emotional, sexual, financial or neglect. Trained counsellors provide crisis counselling, crisis intervention, safety planning, emotional support, information and referrals. Language line services are available in over 200 languages. When a woman calls, we help examine all her options.
   AWHL also operates the Senior Safety Line (SSL) for seniors in Ontario who are being mistreated, bullied, neglected or experiencing other forms of abuse. Counsellors are available 24/7; language services available.
