BC & Alberta Guide Dogs is a registered charity that breeds, raises and trains Guide Dogs for individuals who are blind or visually-impaired, Autism Service Dogs for children with autism and their families, and OSI–PTSD Service Dogs for Veterans and First Responders. Guide Dogs, Autism Service Dogs and OSI–PTSD Service Dogs increase independence, mobility, safety, confidence and support, and are provided to clients living in British Columbia and Alberta FREE OF CHARGE. The organi­zation relies on the generosity of donors to cover the $35,000 cost to produce each professionally-trained dog.
