Operating since 1931, CFSC is the national peace and social justice agency of Quakers in Canada. Quakers received the Nobel Peace Prize for showing “it is possible to translate into action what lies deep in the hearts of many: compassion for others and the desire to help them.” CFSC’s work includes:

• supporting partners in Canada and conflict-affected countries e.g. through active funding and training in grassroots peace and conflict transformation skills;

• dialogue with decision-makers on peace, Indigenous rights, and criminal justice issues;

• education and awareness raising across Canada.
