Escarpment Biosphere Conservancy has been protecting Ontario's sensitive and vulnerable landscape since 1997 and today is the largest Ontario-focussed charitable land trust. We protect over 250 Nature Preserves, from Grimsby to Manitoulin Island and beyond. Escarpment Biosphere Conservancy lands provide habitat for over 70 species at risk, help Canada meet its biodiversity targets, and sequester carbon from the atmosphere. We work closely with landowners, government, First Nation communities and other groups to protect land.
